Midnatt is a production company in Stockholm that also comes up with the idea. We make commercials, 3D, photo and event films, with direction, camera, edit and sound in the house. We are nine people on Krukmakargatan, and we are the ones who do the work.

How we work

    We start with what should happen, and for whom. A first talk about your goals, campaigns and channels.

    The plan

    You get the idea, script and a schedule, and a fixed price before anything is shot.

    The production

    The same team does the work: shoot, 3D, edit and sound. We check in as we go.

What does it cost to hire us?

The price follows what is to be done, and you get it fixed before we begin. Bigger projects get a schedule.

    One animation, one product image in 3D or one short clip. About two working days.

  • Mediumfrom SEK 40,000

    One shoot day or one 3D film, edited and delivered in the formats your channels need.

  • Largefrom SEK 65,000

    A campaign with several films and images, from idea to finished files.

Frequently asked questions

Is Midnatt an advertising agency or a production company?

Both. We can come up with the strategy and the idea, and we make the film ourselves, with the same team all the way. If you already have an agency that owns the idea, we do the production only.

How many are you and where are you?

We are nine people at Krukmakargatan 44 in Stockholm. Three of us are founders, and besides them there are a producer, 3D artists, a motion designer, a sound designer, editors and a head of sales. When a project grows we bring in hand-picked specialists.

Who have you worked with?

Among others Celsius, Lyko, Xpeng, Lundhags, Actic, Volvo, We Effect, The Humble Co, MrCake and Redgert Comms. Every project has a page of its own.

What does it cost to hire Midnatt?

It depends on what is to be done. An animation or a short clip starts at SEK 10,000, a shooting day or a 3D film at SEK 40,000 and a campaign at SEK 65,000. The price is fixed before we begin, and how we count is in the price guide.

How long does a project take?

About two working days for the smallest, an animation or a short clip. Bigger films and campaigns get a schedule in the quote. Nordic Star Cup shows how fast it can go: the aftermovie was ready two days after the final whistle.

Do you work for other agencies?

Yes. For Redgert Comms we are the production: they have the client and the idea, we make the films from script to finished files.

How do I choose a production company?

Ask for references that resemble what you are about to do, ask who actually does the work, and compare quotes that state shooting days, versions and what is included. We have written a short guide with nine questions.
